ENGINEERING APPROACH
ESI performs the majority of its projects on a complete engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. For these projects, ESI performs all engineering, purchases all of the equipment, manages the construction using local labor, commissions the facility and trains the operators. ESI can structure our engineering services to meet the client’s particular needs. This allows the client to be as involved as they want in the engineering and design process. In some instances, ESI has served in a capacity of augmenting the client’s staff in a way that our expertise fills a void they might have.
ENGINEERING ANALYSIS
ESI engineers are industry experts when it comes to conducting project study and feasibility analysis. We use standardized guidelines with strict variances to ensure a reliable and detailed analysis of whatever project study you may be interested in. If your plant situation has recently changed due to higher fuel or power costs, or if you are being mandated to comply with recent environmental regulations, ESI can perform a low-cost engineering study to assist in the evaluation of your options and determine the best path forward. OPERATOR TRAINING
BASIC TRAINING
In the Basic Training Program, the core knowledge necessary to build a true understanding of powerhouse components is established. This includes the following: boilers, water treatment systems, steam and combustion turbines, burners and pollution control equipment.
ADVANCED TRAINING
ESI customizes this training for your particular powerhouse facility. We would visit the site to gather information from the operations staff, review the facility’s existing documentation and observe the system operation. A full-scale training program would then be developed including a manual customized for the facility.
RECURRENT TRAINING
The Recurrent Training Program is designed to provide continuous effective operation of your steam or power generating facility by forming an alliance between ESI and your operating staff. The Advanced Training Program is a prerequisite for the Recurrent Training Program.
